You are an incredible find in the massage world.  AD ~ Chestertown

First let me say that over the past 20 years I’ve had many, many massages with various therapists.  I had my first massage with Laurie last September after meeting her at the Peach Festival in Middletown.  I was so impressed by my time with her that I purchased a 25-session package, knowing that a weekly massage would benefit me physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually—and it was so true!!  Her therapeutic touch and compassion have helped me enjoy better health.  Laurie takes time to really listen and address any issues I’m having.  She uses various techniques and always asks as she gives the massage how the pressure is for me.  I had my first 90-minute massage not too long ago after a very stressful day, and felt all the tension and aches melt away.

Each therapist is different, and Melissa gives a very thorough massage, and I feel energized after my sessions with her.  Her knowledge both of the body and massage techniques are obvious.  She’s able to work out all the kinks from poor posture and lack of exercise (especially during this past winter season).

I like that Body • Mind • Spirit is NOT a salon spa that does hair, nails, etc. but a tranquil space with relaxing music, a comfortable table covered in the most wonderful sheets—I feel absolutely swaddled in luxury.  The lotions and oils are great, too; I don’t feel greasy after my massage, just soothed.  This place is a treasure and I’m so grateful for the Middletown location so I don’t have to travel far to enjoy a fantastic massage.  DT ~ Odessa

When I think of my sessions with Laurie, what comes to mind are the many meanings of the word attend: to be present; to accompany; to listen, to heed; to serve, to take care of. Laurie is an excellent listener, whether this comes naturally as a gift or intentionally through practice. She pays attention not only to the words that she hears but also the expressions she finds in the body and senses in the spirit. She is a faithful attendant to people who are going through all kinds of “things” in their lives, attentive to their needs and matching them with her skills. My American Heritage dictionary traces the etymology of this word to the Latin attendere, to heed, and to the Old French atendre, to stretch. How cool is that!  Her work perfectly encompasses both of these concepts as she helps me untie knots both literally and figuratively and reach for a better state of body, mind and spirit.  Alice H.~Wilmington

I‘ve never experienced a massage like that before.  Some of the techniques you use are different than anything I’ve had before.  I can’t say what it was that made it so different but it was great.  SD ~ Wilmington

THAT was the best massage I’ve ever had.   And I’ve had quite a few.  Thank you so much Laurie.  I feel great.  ~  Landenberg

A good massage therapist is One that connects to you physically, mentally and spiritually, bringing you back together, working out the kinks, the pain, releasing emotional garbage and initiating a sense of well being–a healthy, happy feeling. And that is EXACTLY what Laurie  did for me this evening.  TC~Newark

I’ve been to a lot of places but that was the most wonderful massage I have ever had.  Thank you.  DK-Washington
I am still basking in the memory.  Nothing hurts.  I did as you told me and drank my water.  You’re too good !  Felt like I was in heaven for an hour.  I am saving the card to show people and tell them what a great gift that would be for anyone!  JT~Newark

How was my first massage?  Well, on the way home I felt great.  And I realized that I felt truly happy.  I caught myself  smiling.
