The Space
Upon arrival you will be greeted with the faint scent of the aromatic oils used in our sessions. Enter in to a space carefully designed to exude feelings of peace and serenity. Each room is immaculate and perfectly appointed with freshly-laundered linens, heated tables, top quality essential oils and lotions, calming music and all the extras necessary to ensure your comfort and safety. Most of us have experienced treatments at a spa that were not as effective as promised or you felt rushed to get in and out. Some of us have gone the more clinical route under the fluorescent lights of a noisy, impersonal clinic or office. Neither one is a satisfying or memorable experience. Here at Body • Mind • Spirit we are committed to maintaining the perfect environment where you can enjoy a relaxing experience while providing the results that you are looking for.
The Session
Before each session your therapist will take the time to talk with you and listen to your concerns. We seek to earn your trust and loyalty by focusing on your needs thus it is important that you and your therapist share a common goal or intention for each session. We will work with you to achieve your goals for pain relief, optimal health and a greater sense of well-being by integrating various forms of massage, aromatherapy, calming music, and a compassionate ear.
The Goal
Whether you are here to address a specific injury, are seeking relief from chronic pain or dis-ease, or whether you want to combat the ill-effects of stress before it takes a toll on your health and well-being it is our objective to work hand in hand with you to achieve your goal for optimal health. Addressing specific problems whether recent or deep seated can often be painful. However, our trained therapists will always work within your specific level of tolerance. Remember, we are working in partnership with you as a whole person for healing does not take place on the physical level alone. When we are released from the muscular and emotional tension created by stress, injury or illness we ultimately feel a deeper connection between the whole self: Body • Mind • Spirit. Relaxation of the physical body along with a peaceful state of mind will lead down the path to wholeness–that place where soul meets body.
